Kevin Rose appointed Board Member for Sales and Marketing at Bentley Motors Ltd.

  • Alasdair Stewart moves to head ŠKODA brand at Volkswagen UK
  • Dr. Stephan Wöllenstein becomes Executive Vice President FAW-VW Sales Company

Wolfsburg — Kevin Rose (55) has been appointed Board Member for Sales and Marketing at Bentley Motors Ltd. effective June 1, 2012. Rose is currently Executive Vice President for Sales at FAW-VW Sales Company in Changchun (China). Rose succeeds Alasdair Stewart (48), who is to take charge of the ŠKODA brand at Volkswagen UK. In Changchun, Rose will be succeeded by Dr. Stephan Wöllenstein (48), currently Head of Sales Strategy/Business Development at Volkswagen in Wolfsburg.

Kevin Rose joined the Volkswagen Group in 1978. He has international sales experience and has held various executive management posts in the Group, inter alia heading the SEAT and Audi brands at Volkswagen Group UK and holding responsibility for Sales America at the Volkswagen brand. Rose has been Executive Vice President at FAW-VW in China since July 2009.

Alasdair Stewart has been with the Volkswagen Group since 1998, initially as President and Chief Executive Officer of Bentley North America. He subsequently held various executive positions at Volkswagen, for example taking charge of marketing strategy for the luxury brands and also holding responsibility for sales and marketing at Bugatti Automobiles SAS. He became Board Member for Sales and Marketing at Bentley in February 2010.

Dr. Stephan Wöllenstein began his career at Volkswagen in 1995, and held posts such as Head of Sales North-Western Europe at the Volkswagen Passenger Cars brand. Following a period as Deputy Executive Director at Shanghai Volkswagen Automotive Company, he subsequently assumed responsibility for the “Small Product Line” at product management in Wolfsburg. Wöllenstein was appointed Head of Sales Strategy/Business Development at the Volkswagen Passenger Cars brand in August 2009.
